Old 320 Festival!!!

In case you haven’t yet heard, It’s festival time Max Lager’s fans!!!

On Saturday, July 23 from noon – 4:00 pm, we will be celebrating Max Lager’s 1st inaugural beer festival in our 18 year history right here at 320 Peachtree Street! Coined after the number of our street address, The Old 320 Beer Fest will feature beer sampling from over 20 breweries, a commemorative sampling glass, Max Lager’s bites, live music, and a raffle ticket to win a beer journey to Belgium with our good friend Owen Ogletree. Led by Brewmaster John Roberts, our brewing team has concocted what we believe will be the quintessential summer pilsner for our craft beer enthusiasts and friends . Not to give away the surprise, but you will find this lager to be extremely zesty and refreshing for our lovely July heat.  Also, please read the article from Bob Townsend of the AJC about our beer festival as it further amplifies the excitement we are feeling at Max Lager’s (http://www.myajc.com/news/lifestyles/food-cooking/are-local-brewpubs-the-future-of-beer-festivals/nrmQb/).

Pardon our dust folks! We have some big changes coming to Max Lager’s that we are very excited about.  Not only are we refreshing our upstairs bar area, our new barrel-aging quarter will enhance the brew experience with a fresh ambiance in addition to a tap system featuring our house beer as well as some of the finest beer made in the country.  Be the first to enjoy Max Lager’s refresh at The Old 320 Beer Fest!

We tapped the Happe Hoppe Wheat IPA,  a full-bodied beer for hop heads who need some lupulin to get through the summer.  This beer is very sessionable (5.7% ABV) while carrying enough hop punch to keep you hoppy.  We also be tapped our most recent batch of Hula Hoop this week, which will please sour beer fans and hop heads alike.  Finally, our Czech Reserve Amber Lager is now flowing with a medium body balanced by generous amounts of Saaz hops.

There are some big things in the works at Max Lager’s. Come on out and see what we are up too first hand.

Cheers!
